"I'd also advise that you consume no more alcohol for at least 20 minutes after." Today's interview is brought to you by SoccerElf.com. SoccerElf.com is a brand new website dedicated to helping people all across the United States find the nearest pick up soccer game. If you can't find one near you, guess what? You can create one. Right now, it's still in the early stages, so AP has partnered with them to help get the word out, get more people on the site, and get more games going everywhere! The more chances to play, the more people will play. And the more people who play, the more the game grows.
Good morning AP readers! Got a quick announcement before we get into things today. After over a year of writing and building up an audience, it's time for some changes. AP will now be looking to add writers and editors to increase the amount and quality of content available on the site. I am also looking to add more leagues to the standings page in 2017 to create one of the most comprehensive collections of lower league standings in the US. There are a couple of other ideas I'm tossing around right now, but needless to say, change is coming. If you are interested in being considered for writing and/or editing, please email me at: [email protected]. Now, on to today's interview. Jeremy Sharpe is one of the founding members of Bearfight FC, an amateur team in Wilmington, Delaware. He explains the teams story and ethos, the reason behind the name and what a Bearfight really is, and his hope that a home for Bearfight FC is not far off. Check it out. 'Art inspires art, and one could make the argument that a soccer team is a work of art.' Today's interview is brought to you by For the Love of Futbol. For the Love of Futbol is a blog dedicated to covering the lower level soccer scene in the Midwestern United States, and this site will give you a little bit of everything. Player profiles, team updates, interviews and more with teams like Grand Rapids FC and Detroit City FC. Check them out at ftlofutbol.com to read more and keep up with the exploding Midwestern soccer scene.
What's up AP readers! It's the first truly cold morning in Kansas City, and took us until December 1 to get it. Today's interview is a little different then normal. Muskegon Risers, who will be playing in the Premier League of America this year, wanted to keep things team focused, so there isn't actually a name attached to this interview. In fact, until we get to the short form questions about books and tournaments, everything in this interview is solely focused on the team itself. Check it out. |
