It's a little late, but Week 3 of the Power Rankings is now up and ready ahead of this week's league play! A quick update on the blog. Since summer is the busy time for teams, interviews are going to be fewer and further apart. I've got three interviews just sitting there, waiting for teams to respond so they can be finished. So, we're going to simply do the best we can over the summer, and ramp back up in the fall. Now, as more conferences/divisions in the UPSL and NPSL begin play, you'll notice some teams might be dropped off, despite good records. There are two reasons for that. One, some teams will wrap up their seasons ahead of others. Two, if I don't, both the UPSL and NPSL Top 5 will remain incredibly west coast heavy, and I want to avoid that. That means we have some debutantes! C-Ville FC makes their first appearance at Number 5 in the UPSL, while Miami United FC debuts at Number 5 for the NPSL. The NPSL Top 5 has seen a lot of changes, with CD Aguiluchos dropping from 1 to 3, and everyone else moving up a spot, which means El Farolito is your new NPSL Number 1!
Feedback and input is always appreciated to make sure this is getting done as well as possible, so sound off in the comments and in your retweets and lets work together to make this special! And if you are interested in doing regional, state, and city league power rankings, please contact AP, as we'd love to feature your work and get more people interested in more soccer clubs across the country. |
