Taps: North County Battalion Update 5/17/16

Hello readers, time to give you another update on the comings and goings and happenings with the North County Battalion out of San Diego, California.

Updated standings courtesy of SoCal SC. Things are really tightening up below Albion Pros, and the battle for the top is only going to get crazier.

2 - Deportivo Coras: 10 pts
3 - NC Battalion: 10 pts
4 - SoCal SC: 8 pts
5 - Temecula FC: 7 pts
6 - FC Hasental: 7 pts
7 - Sports Club Corinthians USA: 2 pts

North County Battalion just played in what might be the most exciting game of the season so far in the NPSL. Trailing Corinthians USA 2-0 at the half, NCB scored 3 goals to win the game. Eric Lopez was named Man of the Match for scoring a goal and adding an assist. Highlights below.

NCB also hosted Firefighter Appreciation Night at the game. All proceeds from Ticket Sales went to the Firefighters Fund to support Firefighters and their families in times of crisis. If you're reading this and you run a team, this is how you connect with and support your community.
